On Friday evening, the National Army launched a significant military operation targeting strategic positions held by Houthi militias in the eastern front of Taiz city. This operation marks a decisive response to ongoing threats posed by the Iran-backed group.

Destruction of Houthi Infrastructure

According to September Net, the army successfully detonated a hangar and a tunnel utilized by the Houthi forces for attacks against military sites. These structures were located near the Al-Tashrifat military camp, highlighting their importance in the Houthi operational framework. This action directly counters the repeated assaults carried out by the terrorist group.

Houthi Attacks on Civilian Areas

The Taiz military command reported that Houthi militias have been targeting residential areas surrounding the Al-Khair Mosque, Al-Tashrifat, and the Maneef Pass in eastern Taiz with various types of weaponry. In a related development, the 22nd Mecha Brigade in Taiz confirmed that its forces engaged in fierce battles with Houthi militants on the fronts of Al-Tashrifat and the Palace on Friday evening.
