Sana’a, Yemen – Today, Dr. Abdullah Al-Elyami, a member of the Presidential Leadership Council, held a crucial meeting with Major General Saghir bin Aziz, Chief of the General Staff and Commander of Joint Operations. The discussion included several military leaders and heads of military bodies within the Ministry of Defense, focusing on the latest military developments and combat readiness across various fronts.
During the meeting, Dr. Al-Elyami received a comprehensive briefing on the overall battlefield situation. The leaders discussed readiness levels, training efforts, and the importance of enhancing operational coordination among military units. Dr. Al-Elyami expressed his deep appreciation for the sacrifices made by the brave members of the armed forces stationed on various fronts. He highlighted the importance of the High Military Committee in organizing and coordinating military efforts. This committee plays a vital role in improving readiness and enhancing the effectiveness of the armed forces.
Dr. Al-Elyami reaffirmed the council’s and the government’s commitment to overcoming obstacles faced by the armed forces. They aim to provide the necessary resources for defending the republic and enabling the military to fulfill its national duty in asserting state authority across the entire national territory.
In response, Major General Saghir bin Aziz confirmed that the armed forces continue to enhance their defensive and offensive capabilities. He emphasized a unified national spirit as they prepare for any battlefield developments, aligning with the aspirations of the Yemeni people to restore their state and end the ongoing coup.
