The General Authority for Civil Aviation and Meteorology’s Weather Forecast and Early Warning Center has predicted continued clear to partly cloudy skies in coastal regions and nearby areas this Saturday. The weather will remain moderately warm, with a chance of light scattered rain in Socotra Archipelago and the southern and southwestern coasts.
The center’s daily weather report indicates that winds will pick up along the southern and western coasts, as well as on Mayyun Island and Socotra Archipelago. In contrast, the mountainous regions will experience dry and dusty conditions, with moderate temperatures during the day and very cold to extremely cold temperatures at night and early morning. There is also a possibility of fog formation in some areas.
In the desert and plateau regions, the forecast predicts clear, dry, and relatively dusty weather. Daytime temperatures will remain moderate, while nighttime temperatures will drop to cold and very cold levels, accompanied by active winds that may stir up dust.
The forecast outlines the expected maximum and minimum temperatures for major cities today:

Deserts and Plateaus:
Mountainous Areas:
The center urges citizens, especially the elderly and children in mountainous and desert areas, to take necessary precautions against the drop in nighttime and early morning temperatures. Farmers, livestock breeders, and beekeepers should also be aware of the potential impacts of extreme cold on their crops and livestock. Additionally, individuals with respiratory conditions and drivers should remain cautious due to widespread dust.
In its maritime report, the center forecasts light wave conditions along the coasts of Al-Mahra, Hadramaut, and Shabwa. The coasts of Abyan, Aden, and the western shores, including Socotra Archipelago, will experience light to moderate waves, while the Bab al-Mandab area will see moderate waves. The waters of the Gulf of Aden will remain light to moderate, while the Arabian Sea and the Red Sea may experience moderate to rough conditions.
The center warns fishermen and sea-goers in the southern and southwestern coasts, Bab al-Mandab, Mayyun Island, and southern Socotra Archipelago, as well as in the Arabian Sea and western Gulf of Aden, to be cautious of rough seas and high waves.
