ADEN, Yemen – Major General Mahmoud Ahmed Salem Al-Sobaihi, a member of the Presidential Leadership Council, emphasized the crucial role of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in developing national capacities and training young professionals. He described this ministry as a fundamental pillar for sustainable development, state reconstruction, and strengthening government institutions.

During a meeting today in the temporary capital of Aden, Al-Sobaihi met with Dr. Mazen Al-Jafri, the Undersecretary of the Ministry for Scholarships. They discussed several pressing issues within the higher education sector, particularly focusing on the scholarship programs for Yemeni students studying abroad.
