Minister of Water and Environment Addresses Challenges in Al-Mahra

In response, Engineer Awad Qwaizan reiterated the local authority’s commitment to supporting the water sector, recognizing it as a fundamental service area. He noted ongoing coordination with the Ministry of Water and Environment and donor agencies to address urgent needs. Furthermore, he highlighted the expansion of renewable energy projects, which will alleviate operational burdens and ensure the continuity of drinking water services across various districts in the governorate.
