The Republic of Yemen proudly participated in the opening ceremony of the 63rd Damascus International Fair, held at the Conference Palace in the Syrian capital. The event attracted significant attention, with Syrian President Ahmad al-Shara and numerous high-ranking officials, diplomats, and representatives from various countries and institutions in attendance.
During the opening ceremony, Mohammed Ba’kir, the Chargé d’Affaires of Yemen’s embassy in Syria, visited the Yemeni pavilion. He explored the diverse range of products and exhibits that showcased the unique qualities of Yemeni goods. Ba’kir emphasized that Yemen’s return to the Damascus International Fair aims to strengthen economic and trade relations between the two brotherly nations.
Ba’kir highlighted the importance of revitalizing trade and investment channels. He noted that this participation opens new avenues for Yemeni companies to access international markets, particularly the Syrian market. The fair serves as a platform for fostering collaboration and enhancing bilateral trade relations.
