Ambassador’s Briefing on Yemen’s Status

The non-resident Yemeni Ambassador to Slovenia, Haitham Shuja’ al-Din, recently met with Stanislav Vidovic, the Director of the Middle East Department at the Slovenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. During this meeting, the ambassador provided a comprehensive update on the latest developments in Yemen.

Efforts for Stability and Reform

Ambassador Shuja’ al-Din highlighted the ongoing efforts of the Presidential Leadership Council, led by President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Alimi. He emphasized the council’s commitment to maintaining security and stability in Yemen. Additionally, the ambassador discussed the importance of strengthening Yemen’s legal standing and advancing economic reforms.

Slovenia’s Support for Yemen

In response, Vidovic reaffirmed Slovenia’s supportive stance towards the Republic of Yemen. He expressed the country’s commitment to backing all initiatives aimed at achieving peace and ensuring security and stability within Yemen.
