Lieutenant General Al-Aqili announced the initiation of practical measures to implement the public mobilization decision. These measures include activating human mobilization pathways, organizing reception centers, and assigning relevant authorities to carry out their designated tasks.
The Defense Minister emphasized the armed forces’ commitment to their national and constitutional duty to defend the homeland and restore state institutions while defeating the Houthi terrorist militias. He stressed the importance of military discipline, mobilizing resources, and coordinating efforts to liberate the capital, Sana’a, and every inch of national territory.
In his remarks, the Chief of General Staff stated that the declaration of public mobilization represents a national decision that necessitates an organized transition to the highest levels of readiness. He called for unifying efforts and resources, enhancing the armed forces’ capabilities, and ensuring they fulfill their constitutional and legal responsibilities.
Major General Bin Aziz highlighted the need to complete the assessment of forces, resources, and requirements. He emphasized organizing the call-up and reinforcement processes within legal frameworks while maintaining leadership and administrative hierarchies, ensuring accurate information, and facilitating rapid responses. He urged an increase in discipline, readiness, training, and teamwork.
The Chief of General Staff noted that public mobilization is a national responsibility that extends beyond military units. It involves state institutions and society, enhancing the state’s ability to confront exceptional circumstances and ensuring the continuity of essential services for citizens.

He acknowledged their steadfast position alongside the Yemeni people, national unity, and armed forces in the face of the Houthi terrorist project.
