Dr. Mohammed Al-Maitami, Yemen’s Ambassador to China, today headed an Arab exploratory delegation visiting the country. This group includes political and economic figures from various Arab nations, aiming to strengthen Arab-Chinese communication and dialogue.
In his address on behalf of the Arab delegation, Ambassador Al-Maitami emphasized the robust nature of Arab-Chinese relations. He noted the continuous development across multiple levels, highlighting the deep-rooted ties between Yemen and China. These connections are built on a historical legacy of friendship and mutual cooperation.
During the meeting, which included Jin Xin, Assistant Minister of the International Relations Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, Al-Maitami stressed the importance of leveraging this positive momentum. He called for enhanced cooperation in political, economic, and developmental fields. Furthermore, he advocated for expanding strategic partnerships to serve mutual interests and support development and stability efforts in Arab nations.
The exploratory delegation’s program, organized by the International Relations Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, includes visits to several Chinese provinces. Delegates will gain insights into China’s development experiences, economic modernization, and strategic planning. This initiative aims to foster knowledge exchange and benefit from successful practices.
