The National Coalition of Political Parties and Components has expressed high appreciation for the generous grant provided through the Saudi Program for the Development and Reconstruction of Yemen. This grant, totaling 1.9 billion Saudi Riyals, aims to fund vital development projects and initiatives across several Yemeni provinces. Key sectors targeted include health, education, energy, water, and infrastructure.
In a statement obtained by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the coalition emphasized that this grant reflects a comprehensive development vision. It goes beyond immediate humanitarian aid, focusing on fostering recovery and sustainable stability. The coalition views this support as a crucial pillar in bolstering the resilience of the Yemeni community, enhancing the presence of the state and its institutions, and improving public services. These efforts aim to thwart attempts to create institutional vacuums or impose realities outside the framework of legitimacy and law.
The coalition underscored that Saudi support for Yemen has never been merely a transient political gesture. Instead, it represents a steadfast strategic position rooted in a profound understanding of Yemen’s importance for regional and international security. This support reflects a fraternal commitment to the Yemeni people during one of the most challenging periods in their history. The coalition reiterated its support for all sincere efforts that promote the restoration of the state, build equitable peace, end the coup, and establish state institutions on inclusive national foundations.
The coalition expressed confidence that this fraternal partnership will remain a decisive factor in guiding Yemen toward stability and development. They extended their heartfelt gratitude to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia—its leadership, government, and people—for their sincere and supportive positions toward the Republic of Yemen. The coalition acknowledged the continuous political, economic, and developmental support, which embodies a responsible commitment to safeguarding Yemen’s stability, preserving its legal status, and supporting its legitimate institutions against attempts to undermine the state and threaten its sovereignty.
The statement was issued by the National Coalition of Political Parties and Components, which includes the General People’s Congress, the Yemeni Islah Party, the Yemeni Socialist Party, the Popular Nasserite Organization, the Political Bureau of the National Resistance, the Southern Peaceful Movement, the Al-Rashad Party, the Justice and Building Party, the Southern National Coalition, the Al-Nahda Movement for Peaceful Change, the National Solidarity Party, the Southern Revolutionary Movement, the Yemeni Unified Gathering Party, the Popular Forces Union, the Peace and Development Party, the Arab Socialist Ba’ath Party, the Hadhramaut National Council, the National Democratic Party (Hashd), the Shabwa National Council, the Republican Party, and the Liberation Front Party.
This collaborative effort highlights the unity among various political factions in Yemen, aiming to work together for the country’s recovery and development.
