Governor of Abyan, Major General Dr. Mukhtar Al-Rabash Al-Haythami, chaired an extensive meeting today that included the executive office and directors of various districts, with the attendance of the Secretary-General of the Local Council, Mahdi Mohammed Al-Hamid.
The meeting focused on several issues related to security conditions, service delivery, and the level of administrative performance in the governorate. Participants aimed to enhance the quality of services provided to citizens.
The meeting included reports from the offices of the Ministries of Education, Agriculture, Irrigation, and Public Health and Population. These reports addressed the implementation of tasks and plans, security and service conditions, as well as the main needs and challenges facing the workflow.
During the meeting, Governor Al-Rabash emphasized the importance of raising security readiness and maintaining high vigilance. He called for enhanced coordination and cooperation among various security and military agencies and local authorities. This collaboration aims to preserve security, stability, and public tranquility, while addressing any attempts to disrupt the security of the governorate with firmness and responsibility.
Major General Dr. Mukhtar Al-Rabash stressed the necessity of improving service readiness and doubling efforts to enhance the basic services provided to citizens. He affirmed that the local authority prioritizes the needs of citizens and aims to improve services, while also preparing suitable conditions for receiving displaced persons from the western coast due to the wars waged by the Houthi militia.
The governor directed district directors and executive offices to fulfill their responsibilities effectively. He urged them to monitor the workflow on the ground, address shortcomings, enhance job discipline, and maintain continuous coordination with local authority leadership to ensure a swift response to urgent issues and needs.
Governor of Abyan reiterated that the current phase requires increased vigilance, discipline, and collective efforts. He called for a spirit of national responsibility to enhance security and stability, while promoting development and improving services across all districts in the governorate.
