Sayun, Hadramout – Today, Governor Salem Al-Khanbashi inaugurated the new headquarters of the Hadramout National Council in Sayun. He was joined by the Deputy Governor for Valley and Desert Affairs, Amer Al-Amri, and Assistant Deputy Abdulhadi Al-Tamimi.
During the opening ceremony, attended by council leaders and community figures, Governor Al-Khanbashi emphasized that this new facility marks a significant step in the council’s operations. He announced plans for an additional headquarters in Mukalla, which will enhance the council’s ability to engage in local and regional initiatives. Al-Khanbashi praised the political leadership and the support from Saudi Arabia for Hadramout, highlighting their contributions to the region’s development.
In his remarks, Secretary-General of the Hadramout National Council, Issam Al-Kathiri, expressed gratitude to Governor Al-Khanbashi for this pivotal development. He described the opening as a momentous occasion in Hadramout’s history. Al-Kathiri reaffirmed the council’s commitment to supporting local authorities and advocating for the rights of Hadramout’s citizens.
This new headquarters aims to strengthen the council’s role as a vital contributor to national and developmental efforts in the region.
