Taiz Axis Launches New Training Year for 2026

Major Announcement by Military Leaders

Today, Major General Khaled Fadhel, the Commander of the Taiz Axis, alongside Brigadier General Abdul Aziz Al-Majidi, the Chief of Staff, officially inaugurated the combat, operational, and morale training year for 2026. The ceremony took place in the presence of several military leaders from various brigades and battalions.

A Message of Hope and Determination

During the launch event, Major General Fadhel conveyed greetings from the political and military leadership, represented by President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Alimi, the Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces. He emphasized that 2026 promises to be a year of victory against the Houthi terrorist militias.

Fadhel urged all fighters to intensify their efforts and determination, aiming for a transformative training and combat year. He called for high morale, enthusiasm, and readiness, emphasizing the need for close cooperation to liberate the remaining parts of the country from Houthi control.

Training Initiatives and Achievements

The launch of the training year at the Taiz Axis and Military Police marks the first of many planned activities for this year. Fadhel praised the bravery and high readiness of the fighters, honored the martyrs, and wished for a swift recovery for the wounded.

Colonel Saeed Al-Sabri, the Head of the Training Division, highlighted that training remains the primary mission for leaders and fighters. He reviewed key training achievements from 2025, including the implementation of officer and disabled personnel assessments and various specialized courses. Al-Sabri stressed the importance of this training year in enhancing readiness and preparedness.

Focus on Modern Training Techniques

Al-Sabri also outlined the main training tasks outlined in the directive and general plan, emphasizing the need to adapt training to technological advancements. He noted the importance of incorporating artificial intelligence and information security courses, along with individual and collective training exercises.

Recognition of Excellence

The launch ceremony included a presentation of key study points by the Axis leadership, as well as recognition for outstanding individuals from the Axis, Military Police, and Reserve Battalion.

This event marks a significant step forward in the ongoing efforts to strengthen the capabilities of the Taiz Axis and prepare for future challenges.
