The armed forces in the Taiz Axis have engaged in intense battles against the Houthi militia on the northern front of the city since early Friday morning.
The media center of the Taiz Axis leadership reported that government forces, supported by popular resistance, are facing fierce confrontations with the militia. This situation has led to a mutual exchange of artillery fire in the combat zones.
These clashes arise as the Houthi militia attempts to achieve any field breakthrough after failing to make significant progress in recent weeks.
In the past hours, the armed forces across various fronts in the province have successfully repelled militia attacks, inflicting heavy losses on the Houthis in terms of equipment and personnel.
Since morning, the military’s air force has conducted 20 precise airstrikes targeting the movements, reinforcements, gatherings, personnel, and military vehicles of the Iranian-backed Houthi militia in Taiz province.
