The Republic of Yemen actively participated in a significant forum focused on media and think tanks from Global South countries, held today as part of the China-Arab Partnership Conference in Cairo, Egypt. The event was organized by the Arab League in collaboration with the Chinese news agency Xinhua, highlighting the growing importance of international dialogue and cooperation.
The forum commenced with opening remarks from Ahmed Aboul Gheit, Secretary-General of the Arab League, and Fu Hua, President of the Xinhua News Agency. Taking place from May 12 to May 13, the forum features key participants, including Hussein Basaleem, Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism, and Abdullah Hazam, Chairman of the Yemeni News Agency (Saba). Approximately 150 attendees from China and various Arab countries are participating, including high-ranking officials, journalists, researchers, and representatives from regional and international organizations.
