The General Authority for Civil Aviation and Meteorology has issued a warning through the Meteorological Forecasting and Early Warning Center. Citizens should prepare for severe weather, including thunderstorms and active winds, affecting various coastal and inland regions. Authorities urge residents to take necessary precautions and avoid riverbeds and flood-prone areas.
The forecast predicts partly cloudy and dusty weather, with hot temperatures during the day and mild conditions at night. Scattered rain is expected along the western and southern coasts.
In the mountainous areas, the weather will be cloudy to partly cloudy, with a chance of varying intensity thunderstorms.
The desert and plateau areas will experience dusty, dry, and extremely hot conditions during the day. Scattered rain may occur in the deserts of Hadramout and Shabwa.
The forecast indicates severe disturbances along the coasts of Socotra and the Arabian Sea, with moderate to rough conditions in the coasts of Al-Mahra, Hadramout, and Aden. The Red Sea will experience light waves, while the Gulf of Aden will see rough waves.
Authorities urge residents in mountainous and coastal areas to avoid riverbeds and flood-prone zones. Fishermen and ship captains must exercise caution due to rough sea conditions and high waves, especially near the Socotra archipelago.
