A recent report from the International Organization for Migration revealed that 11,397 African migrants arrived in Yemen during August, marking a 17% decrease compared to July, which saw 13,687 migrants enter the country.
The organization noted that the total number of migrants who have arrived in Yemen since January 2026 reached 122,258 migrants. This influx continues as tens of thousands of African migrants seek economic opportunities or flee conflicts in their home countries.
