A recent report from the International Organization for Migration revealed that 11,397 African migrants arrived in Yemen during August, marking a 17% decrease compared to July, which saw 13,687 migrants enter the country.
Routes of Arrival and Migrant Statistics
- 63% arrived via the coasts of Djibouti, reaching Abyan and Taiz.
- 33% came from the coasts of Somalia, all arriving in Shabwa.
- 4% entered from Oman, landing in Al-Mahrah.
