Students from Taiz Governorate secured 56 percent of the top positions in technical institutes for the academic year 2025-2026 across liberated governorates.
Taiz Governor Nabil Shamsan praised this achievement, emphasizing that it reflects the excellence of the province’s youth and their commitment to education and development despite the challenges posed by the Houthi militia. He noted that knowledge serves as a fundamental pillar for enhancing resilience and confronting challenges.
Shamsan affirmed that this success showcases the exceptional abilities and competencies of the students from Taiz. He appreciated the efforts of the leadership of the Technical Education and Vocational Training Office, as well as the administrations of the institutes and the educational and administrative staff in achieving this milestone.
The Governor reiterated the local authority’s support for the technical education and vocational training sector, along with the nurturing of outstanding and creative students. He wished the top students continued success in their academic and professional journeys.
