He stated that education represents a national and moral responsibility. The Ministry aims to develop appropriate recommendations and solutions through this strategy to facilitate the reintegration of children into schools, both in the short and long term. Al-Akbari stressed the importance of collaboration among all partners to ensure the strategy’s effectiveness.

Acknowledgment of Collaborative Efforts

Minister Al-Akbari praised the efforts of the Ministry’s technical and supervisory committees for completing a study on the status of out-of-school children and for preparing this strategy. He acknowledged the contributions of distinguished academic leaders and experts involved in the process. Additionally, he expressed gratitude to UNICEF for its support of the educational sector, as well as to the funding agencies, including the Government of Japan and SIDA.

He thanked the Ministry of Education for its efforts in creating a strategy that will systematically and scientifically address the challenges faced by out-of-school children.
