Additionally, it will include a main conference hall, a spacious lobby for exhibitions and workshops related to aviation activities, as well as parking facilities and green spaces.

Project Timeline and Funding

The minister indicated that the project will take between one to one and a half years to complete, funded entirely by the authority. This initiative is part of a broader effort to enhance the aviation infrastructure in Aden.

Vision for the Aviation Sector

Minister Hamid emphasized that 2025 will mark a significant year for the aviation sector, which plays a crucial role in driving economic and social development. He highlighted several projects launched in the past two weeks, including the opening of Ataq International Airport and Abd al-Kuri Island Airport in the Socotra Archipelago. He announced plans to upgrade Socotra Airport to operate both day and night, expanding its capabilities.

Achievements and Future Plans

Captain Bin Naheed confirmed that this year represents a milestone for the authority, showcasing numerous completed programs and ongoing projects. He provided insights into the project’s location, which will be situated on the northern side of Aden International Airport. This area complies with Cabinet decisions and safety plans, ensuring it maintains appropriate distances from the runway according to established regulations.
