In a recent meeting, Yemen’s Minister of Defense, Lieutenant General Mohsen Al-Daari, engaged with Colonel Jonathan Frame, the British military attaché at the embassy in Yemen. They discussed the latest military and security developments in the country.
During the meeting, Minister Al-Daari highlighted the ongoing mobilization of Houthi militias along the front lines. He expressed concern over their continuous provocations and attacks on armed forces across multiple fronts. The Minister emphasized the crucial role of the Joint Operations Authority in enhancing coordination and collaboration among various military formations.
Lieutenant General Al-Daari reiterated the persistent cooperation between the Iranian-backed Houthi militia and other terrorist organizations, including Al-Qaeda, ISIS, and Al-Shabaab. He warned that these alliances aim to destabilize liberated areas, threaten maritime navigation, and disrupt global security.
The meeting also included Major General Abdulhakim Al-Shaibi, the Director of the Minister of Defense’s Office, and Colonel Yahya Al-Wa’il, the military attaché at Yemen’s embassy in Riyadh. Their presence underscored the importance of international collaboration in addressing Yemen’s security challenges.
This discussion reflects Yemen’s ongoing struggle against terrorism and the need for continued support from international partners to ensure stability in the region.
