The armed forces successfully repelled hostile operations by Houthi militias, which are backed by the Iranian regime, in the Marib and Al-Jawf governorates.
A military source reported to September Net that the armed forces confronted Houthi attacks in the “Al-A’irf” sector of southern Marib. This engagement resulted in substantial losses for the militias, both in personnel and equipment.
The source further noted that the clashes led to the martyrdom of one soldier and injuries to four others.
Additionally, the army targeted Houthi movements in the northern and western fronts of Marib. These operations destroyed heavy equipment used by the militias to establish fortifications and rendered their weapons inoperable.
The air defense units of the armed forces successfully intercepted a Houthi drone in the region, preventing further threats to the area.
In Al-Jawf, the armed forces thwarted aggressive attempts by Houthi militias in the Al-Jadafer sector. This confrontation resulted in injuries to two soldiers.
The armed forces effectively addressed enemy fire sources, damaging Houthi weapons and vehicles, and inflicting further casualties on the militias.
Moreover, the air defense units of the army intercepted another Houthi drone in the Al-Jawf frontlines, showcasing the ongoing commitment to safeguarding the region from aerial threats.
In summary, the armed forces continue to demonstrate resilience and effectiveness in countering Houthi aggression, ensuring the safety and security of the Marib and Al-Jawf governorates.
