Security forces in Al-Dhale’e province have apprehended five individuals in connection with two violent incidents that led to the deaths and injuries of ten people, including a child. This announcement was made by the Al-Dhale’e police department, which provided details through the Ministry of Interior’s security media.
In the first incident, authorities arrested three young men accused of firing shots and detonating a bomb amid civilians during a dispute. This altercation resulted in injuries to one suspect and four innocent bystanders, including a 14-year-old child. The police have emphasized the seriousness of this situation and the immediate need for action to ensure public safety.
In a separate case, security forces in the Sanaa district of Al-Dhale’e detained suspects involved in random gunfire on the morning of Eid al-Adha. This reckless shooting occurred outside a commercial complex in the local market, leading to one fatality and injuring four others. Law enforcement has expressed its commitment to addressing violent acts, particularly during significant public holidays where safety is paramount.
All suspects are currently in custody pending legal proceedings. Authorities are set to transfer the individuals to the public prosecutor’s office for further investigation. The police are dedicated to ensuring justice is served and restoring peace within the community.
