PM vows government’s commitment to care for the injured and support martyrs’ families.

In a meeting held on Thursday in the temporary capital, Aden, Prime Minister Dr. Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak reaffirmed the government’s commitment to treating the injured and caring for the families of martyrs, considering it a national and moral responsibility and duty towards them. He emphasized that their sacrifices would not be in vain and would remain a source of pride and honor for all citizens.

The meeting was attended by representatives of the wounded and the families of martyrs from Taiz, along with Taiz Governor Nabil Shamsan, and the Chief of Staff for the Taiz Axis, Major General Abdulaziz Al-Majidi. During the meeting, the Prime Minister was briefed on their current situations, including issues related to treatment, care, and promotions. He directed several immediate actions to address some of these issues.

Furthermore, Dr. Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak instructed the head of the Land and Urban Planning Authority to allocate land plots for the families of martyrs in Taiz as a first phase. He assured that the government is keen on reviewing the expenditure allocated for the wounded and the martyrs’ families in the liberated provinces to ensure that support reaches the beneficiaries through transparent mechanisms.

The Prime Minister stressed that the state and government would not abandon its wounded or forget the families of its martyrs who defended the nation against the Houthi’s coup project, which has caused destruction, corruption, killings, and torture of citizens.

The meeting, which also saw the participation of the Minister of Public Health and Population, Dr. Qasem Buhaibeh, and the Prime Minister’s Office Director, Engineer Anis Baharitha, resulted in several measures to improve the performance of military and government hospitals for treating the wounded and addressing the needs of those requiring treatment abroad.
