Today, in the temporary capital of Aden, Minister of Defense Major General Taher Al-Aqeeli convened a crucial meeting with representatives from the Human Resources Agency. The primary objective of this meeting was to evaluate the current performance levels and the ongoing efforts to organize and manage data pertaining to the armed forces. This initiative is part of the Ministry’s broader commitment to improving the effectiveness and efficiency of the Yemeni armed forces.
During the meeting, Minister Al-Aqeeli received comprehensive updates from Major General Mohammed Batis, the Assistant Minister of Defense for Human Resources, as well as Major General Ahmed Al-Marzouqi, the head of the agency. Department directors also contributed valuable insights regarding the workflow, data updating processes, and the measures implemented to enhance accuracy and streamline both administrative and financial operations.
Minister Al-Aqeeli underscored the critical importance of continuing financial and administrative reforms aimed at improving human resource management efficiency. He directed the team to identify and rectify any discrepancies in the data to ensure the database is devoid of duplication and redundancy. These measures are intended to bolster the operational effectiveness of the armed forces, thereby enabling a more robust response to national security needs.
In addition, Major General Al-Aqeeli reaffirmed the Ministry of Defense’s dedication to supporting the Human Resources Agency.
