The National Coalition of Political Parties and Components has expressed its admiration for the bravery, resilience, and sacrifices made by the armed forces, the national resistance, and the Yemeni people. They stand united in defense of the republic against the Iranian-backed Houthi terrorist militias.

Call to Action for Yemeni Citizens

In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the coalition urged all Yemeni citizens to rally around their armed forces and national resistance. This call emphasizes the importance of defending the Republic of Yemen and maintaining the unity and integrity of its territories. The coalition also appealed to families whose children have been coerced into joining the Houthi ranks, urging them to rescue their loved ones from a conflict that serves only the Iranian agenda and Houthi terrorism.

Need for Coordinated Military Strategy

The coalition stressed the necessity of implementing a comprehensive and simultaneous military strategy across all fronts. They highlighted the importance of denying the Houthi militias the opportunity to choose the timing or location of any battle. This proactive approach aims to counter the ongoing threat posed by the militias effectively.

Coordination with Arab Coalition Leadership

Furthermore, the coalition reaffirmed the need for coordination with the Arab Coalition leadership to support efforts aimed at ending the Houthi rebellion. They called for the restoration of state institutions to the legitimate government’s authority. The coalition praised the unwavering support provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Yemeni legitimacy in its fight against the Houthi insurgency, as well as its commitment to sustaining state institutions and their functions.

International Community’s Role

The coalition reiterated its call for the international community to support the legitimate government and implement United Nations Resolution 2216. They emphasized that treating the Houthis as a legitimate political entity perpetuates an unjust reality and prolongs the threat to Yemen and the security of international navigation in the Bab el-Mandeb Strait.
