Real Madrid secured a significant victory against Sevilla, winning four to one at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium in a match of the Spanish football league. French star Kylian Mbappé played a crucial role in this triumph, scoring two goals.
The match took place without Brazilian forward Vinícius Júnior, who faced a suspension. Nevertheless, Mbappé’s performance proved vital as he led the team to an important win ahead of the highly anticipated El Clásico against Barcelona.
Turkish player Arda Güler opened the scoring for Real Madrid in the thirtieth minute with a powerful shot from outside the penalty area. Mbappé then doubled the lead in the thirty-seventh minute.
In the second half, Mbappé successfully converted a penalty in the sixty-third minute, marking his second goal and bringing the team’s total to three. Sevilla’s substitute, Manu Bueno, managed to reduce the deficit in the eightieth minute. However, just two minutes later, Jan Duyamandi restored the three-goal advantage for Real Madrid by scoring the fourth goal.
With this victory, Real Madrid increased their points total to twenty-one, placing them third in the league. They trail Atlético Madrid by one point and sit six points behind league leaders Barcelona. Sevilla remains in sixth place with a total of fourteen points.
This win sets the stage for the upcoming El Clásico, where Real Madrid aims to close the gap with Barcelona and continue their pursuit of the top position in La Liga.
