President Al-Alimi Extends Condolences on the Passing of Dr. Wahiba Ghaleb Fare

In a heartfelt message, President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, expressed his deepest condolences to Major General Ali Mohammed Hashim following the passing of his wife, Dr. Wahiba Ghaleb Fare, the former Minister of Human Rights. Dr. Fare, who dedicated her life to serving the nation and advancing her people, left a legacy of commitment and excellence.

A Legacy of Service and Leadership

President Al-Alimi, along with the council members and government officials, conveyed sincere sympathies to Major General Hashim, the children of the deceased, her family, colleagues, and students during this difficult time. The President praised Dr. Fare for her remarkable contributions to the nation through her academic, political, and administrative endeavors. Her historic role as the first female Minister of Human Rights and the first president of a private Yemeni university highlighted her leadership. President of the Presidential Leadership Council Offers Condolences on the Passing of Dr. Waheba Fareh

His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Muhammad Al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, sent a message of condolence and sympathy to veteran Lieutenant General Ali Muhammad Hashem on the passing of his wife, the former Minister of Human Rights, Dr. Waheba Ghaleb Fareh, who passed away after a life full of contributions to the service and advancement of her nation and people.

On behalf of himself, the council members, and the government, the President expressed his heartfelt condolences and sincere sympathy to General Ali Hashem, the children of the deceased, her family members, colleagues, and students during this painful time.

The President praised the virtues of the deceased and her significant contributions to the nation through her academic, political, and administrative activities, holding various leadership positions in the state, most notably as the first female Minister of Human Rights in the country. She was also the first president of a private Yemeni university. Her extensive record as a researcher, lecturer, political writer, and women’s rights activist enriched the Yemeni library with numerous publications, books, and educational, political, developmental, and social studies.

The President affirmed that Yemen has lost one of its most prominent national academic and administrative talents with the passing of Dr. Waheba Fareh, praying for God’s mercy and forgiveness for her and for patience and solace for her family and loved ones.
