Today, the Ministry of Youth and Sports unveiled its 2025 training program in Marib Province, Yemen. This initiative aims to equip young men and women across 13 Yemeni provinces with essential skills and knowledge relevant to modern-day requirements. The program focuses on empowering the youth to meet contemporary challenges effectively.
Ali Al-Fatimi, the Deputy Governor of Marib, inaugurated an English language diploma course for beginners in the province. This three-month course targets young people from both displaced communities and the host society. The Youth Sector of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, in collaboration with Raedoon Consulting Academy, manages the program. The launch was attended by directors of youth and sports offices from several provinces, highlighting the collaborative effort to enhance youth education.
During the event, Deputy Governor Al-Fatimi emphasized the importance of building and developing youth capabilities through training programs and courses. These initiatives enable young people to forge their paths towards the future and contribute to the nation’s progress. He praised the Ministry of Youth for its active role in equipping the youth with necessary skills and knowledge, which are crucial for shaping their futures and serving their communities and country.
Al-Fatimi reiterated the commitment of local authorities, represented by Presidential Leadership Council member Major General Sultan Al-Arada, to continue supporting the youth sector. He highlighted the importance of providing all necessary assistance for programs and activities that focus on nurturing and developing the skills and talents of young people. He noted that youth represent the pillars of building the nation and are fundamental to its resilience.
