The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center delivered a new shipment of emergency shelter supplies to Gaza yesterday. This initiative aims to address urgent winter needs and provide quick, safe solutions for displaced families. It forms part of the Saudi public campaign to support the Palestinian people.
The shipment included a significant quantity of prepared tents stored in the Saudi Center for Culture and Heritage warehouses. This center acts as the implementing partner in Gaza, facilitating the distribution of these tents to displaced families across various regions of the territory.
To date, the center has dispatched 74 aircraft and 8 ships, transporting over 7,677 tons of food, medical, and shelter supplies. Additionally, the center has provided 20 ambulances to the Palestinian Red Crescent Society. It has also signed agreements with international organizations to implement relief projects valued at $90.35 million. Furthermore, the center has conducted aerial drops in partnership with Jordan to overcome border closures.
These efforts reflect Saudi Arabia’s ongoing commitment through the King Salman Humanitarian Aid Center to alleviate the suffering of the Palestinian people in Gaza, who currently face critical humanitarian challenges.
