Boosting Revenue and Streamlining Customs at Al Mahrah's Shahn Port

In a significant move to bolster the local economy, a meeting chaired by the Governor of Al Mahrah, Mohammed Ali Yasser, on Wednesday, focused on enhancing the revenue generation of the Shahn customs checkpoint and facilitating smoother operations for traders.

Economic and Operational Enhancements

Governor Yasser underscored the critical role of the Shahn customs checkpoint as a primary contributor to the national economy. He emphasized the urgent need to boost revenue and improve operational performance at the customs checkpoint. Further, Governor Yasser stressed the importance of providing customs facilitation to traders.
