Military sources reported that the First Tihama Brigade, part of the National Resistance Forces, targeted Houthi reinforcements and combat vehicles in the Al-Haymah area shortly after midnight. The militia had been preparing to launch a large-scale attack on positions north of Al-Khawkhah city.

The sources indicated that the militia had gathered dozens of fighters and vehicles near the front lines in Al-Haymah. However, their movements were closely monitored. Consequently, the First Tihama Brigade responded swiftly, using Katyusha rockets and artillery to strike these reinforcements, effectively thwarting the planned attack before it could commence.
