Gold prices experienced an increase today, buoyed by a drop in oil prices. This decline has alleviated some concerns regarding inflation and the potential for interest rate hikes, according to data published in Al-Madina newspaper.
In the spot market, gold rose by 0.7%, reaching $4,067.06 per ounce. Meanwhile, U.S. gold futures climbed by 0.9%, settling at $4,065.60 per ounce.
This surge in precious metals coincides with the decline in oil prices, which has eased inflationary pressures and reduced the likelihood of tightening monetary policy in the near future.
