Dr. Jalaal Faqira, Yemen’s Ambassador to Jordan, met today with Dr. Khaled Abu Hamour, the Secretary-General of the Jordanian Ministry of Interior. The two officials explored ways to enhance and develop the bilateral relations between their countries.

Current Situation in Yemen

During the meeting, Ambassador Faqira provided an update on the latest developments in Yemen. He highlighted the efforts of President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Alimi, the head of the Presidential Leadership Council, to maintain Yemen’s unity, security, and stability. Additionally, he addressed issues concerning Yemeni citizens residing in Jordan, as well as those visiting for tourism or medical treatment.

In response, Dr. Abu Hamour reaffirmed the Jordanian Ministry of Interior’s commitment to facilitating support for Yemeni citizens in the kingdom. He emphasized the importance of ensuring their well-being and addressing their needs effectively.
