Today, Abdulrahman Al-Mahrimi, a member of the Presidential Leadership Council, met with Defense Minister Major General Taher Al-Aqeeli. The leaders engaged in discussions regarding the latest military developments, with a specific focus on enhancing military readiness, unifying forces, and improving training systems.
During the meeting, Al-Mahrimi reviewed a comprehensive report presented by Al-Aqeeli. This report detailed the progress of military plans, outlined achievements to date, and identified the primary challenges confronting military operations. Additionally, it proposed solutions aimed at enhancing institutional efficiency within the military framework.
The discussion also emphasized programs and strategies designed to rebuild human resources in line with modern professional standards. Key initiatives include the development of training curricula, enhancement of personnel skills, and preparation of field leaders. These efforts are intended to meet current demands and bolster the forces’ readiness to address various challenges effectively.
Another critical point of discussion was the restructuring of the military institution. The goal of this restructuring is to establish organized formations that operate under a cohesive military doctrine. Such changes aim to facilitate integration among units and promote a unified military decision-making process, ultimately directing resources toward the mission of state restoration.
Al-Mahrimi underscored the importance of unifying forces within a disciplined and specialized institutional framework. He remarked that the success of any military operation hinges on a well-integrated organizational structure, clear leadership hierarchy, and ongoing effective training. He stressed the necessity for a modern military institution that fosters a unified goal, harmonious performance, and complementary roles, thus enhancing operational efficiency and mitigating overlapping authorities.
In response, Defense Minister Al-Aqeeli expressed gratitude to Al-Mahrimi for his support and attention to the military institution. He reaffirmed the ministry’s commitment to advancing training and qualification systems, as well as implementing restructuring and unification plans. These initiatives are designed to elevate the readiness and combat efficiency of the armed forces.
