The Meteorological Forecasting and Early Warning Center at the General Authority for Civil Aviation and Meteorology predicts that the weather in coastal regions and nearby areas will be partly cloudy and relatively hot during the day, with moderate temperatures at night. There is a possibility of scattered rain showers along the eastern coasts and the Socotra Archipelago.
The center reports that mountainous areas will experience cold to relatively cold weather during the night and early morning. Fog or mist may form in some parts. Meanwhile, the weather in desert and plateau regions will remain clear to partly cloudy, hot during the day, and relatively cold at night.
The center warns citizens, especially the elderly and children in mountainous areas, to take necessary precautions due to the drop in temperatures. Additionally, drivers should exercise caution because of reduced visibility caused by fog and mist.
In the marine bulletin, the center anticipates that the sea will have light waves along most Yemeni coasts and the Gulf of Aden, while moderate waves are expected in the coasts of Bab al-Mandab, the Arabian Sea, and the Red Sea.
Fishermen and sea-goers in the Arabian Sea, the Red Sea, and Bab al-Mandab should be cautious of high waves and strong winds.
