Cairo, Egypt – The Republic of Yemen actively participated today in a preparatory meeting for permanent representatives of Arab states. This meeting took place at the headquarters of the Arab League in Cairo. It forms part of the preparations for the sixth Arab-European ministerial conference, scheduled for June 22 in Amman.
The Yemeni delegation was led by Abdul Malik Dahan, the Chargé d’Affaires and Minister Plenipotentiary at the Arab League. His leadership underscores Yemen’s commitment to engaging in regional discussions.
During the meeting, participants discussed organizational and technical arrangements for the upcoming ministerial conference. They reviewed the draft agenda and relevant documents. Additionally, they explored topics that will serve as focal points for discussions between Arab and European representatives. These discussions aim to enhance strategic partnerships and mutual cooperation.
The Yemeni delegation emphasized the need to strengthen Arab coordination and unify positions on shared issues.
