The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of Yemen has strongly condemned the renewed attacks by the Iranian-backed Houthi terrorist militias against the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The latest assaults occurred on Sunday, involving the launch of ballistic missiles and cruise missiles targeting the capital city of Riyadh, as well as the eastern and southern regions of the kingdom. These actions represent a blatant violation of Saudi sovereignty and international law, including humanitarian law.
In a statement released today, which the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) received, the ministry reiterated Yemen’s full solidarity with Saudi Arabia. It expressed support for all measures the kingdom takes to protect its security, sovereignty, and the safety of its citizens and residents.
Yemen also urged the international community to adopt a firm stance against these attacks. The government called for accountability for the perpetrators and emphasized the need to address the threats posed by the Houthi militias to regional security and stability.
