Two Palestinians died tonight from injuries sustained during previous airstrikes conducted by Israeli forces in the Gaza Strip.
Medical sources confirmed that one Palestinian succumbed to injuries from an airstrike that targeted the Al-Nasr neighborhood in western Gaza City. Another Palestinian died from injuries sustained in an airstrike that hit a point belonging to the Ministry of National Economy in the Mawasi area of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip days earlier.
Israeli forces continued to fire upon various areas in the Gaza Strip. They targeted military vehicles northeast of Al-Bureij refugee camp in the central region, around Kamal Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza, and eastern Khan Younis. This occurred alongside artillery shelling aimed at areas in northeastern Khan Younis.
According to medical sources, the death toll in the Gaza Strip has reached 74,594 since October 7, 2023. The number of injured individuals has climbed to 175,834.
This escalation occurs amid ongoing tensions, despite the ceasefire agreement between Hamas and Israeli forces that took effect in October of last year. Palestinian officials accuse Israel of violating the ceasefire through airstrikes, artillery shelling, and gunfire in various areas of the Gaza Strip.
