The Meteorological Forecasting and Early Warning Center at the General Authority for Civil Aviation and Meteorology predicts that the weather in coastal regions and nearby areas will remain moderate, with clear to partly cloudy skies. There is a possibility of scattered rain in parts of the Socotra Archipelago, while winds will strengthen along the southern coasts.
According to the daily weather report, mountainous areas will experience dry and clear weather, with moderate temperatures during the day. Nights will be relatively cold, especially in the early morning hours. In contrast, desert and plateau regions will see dry and clear to partly cloudy conditions, with hot temperatures during the day and moderate temperatures at night.
The report indicates that the city of Lahij will record the highest expected temperature in coastal areas at 38 degrees Celsius. Meanwhile, the minimum temperature in Sana’a will drop to 8 degrees Celsius, while Dhamar and Al-Bayda will see temperatures as low as 7 degrees Celsius.
The center urges citizens, particularly those in mountainous regions, to take necessary precautions against the cold weather during the night and early morning. It emphasizes the importance of wearing appropriate clothing, especially for children, school students, and the elderly.
In the marine forecast, the center expects the sea conditions to be mild along most Yemeni coasts, the Arabian Sea, and the Gulf of Aden. However, the waves will be light to moderate along the coasts of Shabwa, the Socotra Archipelago, and the Red Sea.
Fishermen and ship captains in the eastern and southern coasts, as well as the Red Sea, should be cautious of rough seas, high waves, and strong winds.
