The Youth National Football Team has officially qualified for the 2025 AFC U-20 Asian Cup in China. This milestone follows a thrilling match against Indonesia, which ended in a 1-1 draw at Madiya Stadium. The game took place as part of the sixth group stage of the tournament.

The national team secured its spot as one of the best second-placed teams in the competition. Both teams finished the group stage with seven points, but Indonesia advanced due to a superior goal difference of just one goal.
