Members of the Technical Committee for the districts of Wadi Hadhramaut and the desert convened today under the leadership of the Deputy Governor for District Affairs, Amer Al-Amri. The meeting focused on the Economic and Social Development Plan for Hadhramaut, covering the years 2025 to 2027.
The meeting, attended by Assistant Deputy Governor Engineer Hisham Al-Saeedi, examined how well the proposed plan meets the diverse needs of developmental and service sectors. The committee emphasized the importance of a balanced approach to ensure comprehensive growth.
Deputy Governor Al-Amri explained that the plan includes various developmental projects, strategically distributed over three years. This approach aims to address the urgent needs of the province while adapting to the current circumstances, including the ongoing economic crisis that has impacted Hadhramaut’s investment programs. He praised the collaboration between local authorities, civil society organizations, and the private sector in formulating this plan.
The discussions highlighted the committee’s commitment to fostering sustainable development in Hadhramaut. By prioritizing urgent needs and coordinating efforts across sectors, the plan aims to lay a solid foundation for the province’s future growth.
