Taiz, Yemen – Today, Governor Nabil Shamsan visited the leadership of the Taiz Axis, reaffirming his full support for the armed forces and prioritizing assistance to frontline troops amid ongoing Houthi aggression.
During the meeting, which included Major General Khaled Fadel, Commander of the Taiz Axis, and Brigadier General Abdul Aziz Al-Majidi, Chief of Staff, Governor Shamsan praised the bravery of the army in resisting the Houthi terrorist militias. He emphasized the critical importance of maintaining high readiness levels and preparing for any emergencies.
“We must remain highly prepared and ready for any eventuality. Our priorities are to support the heroes on the front lines to bolster the army’s resilience in defending Taiz against Houthi terrorism,” Shamsan stated.
In response, Major General Fadel welcomed the governor’s visit, noting that it boosts the morale of the fighters and reinforces unity in facing the security and military challenges confronting the province.
In a related development, Major General Khaled Fadel held a meeting today with battalion leaders to discuss the latest military updates on the front lines. He listened to reports from each leader regarding field developments and the ongoing confrontation with Houthi militias. Leaders confirmed the army’s readiness to counter the Houthi threat and liberate the remaining areas of the province.
The commander stressed the importance of vigilance, caution, and readiness for any unexpected situations. He highlighted the criminal nature of the Houthi militias and their targeting of residential neighborhoods, urging all forces to remain alert.
This proactive approach aims to strengthen the military’s resolve and ensure the safety of Taiz’s citizens as they face ongoing threats.
