The Governor of Taiz, Nabil Shamsan, has highlighted the critical need to improve the performance of executive offices across various sectors during the holy month of Ramadan. He stressed the importance of teamwork to enhance the quality of services provided to citizens, manage traffic flow, regulate markets, monitor prices, and ensure the availability of water and cleanliness.
During a recent meeting with the Deputy Governor for Technical Affairs, Engineer Mohaib Al-Hakimi, and directors of public works, traffic police, and technical affairs, Shamsan proposed the creation of an executive unit under the Public Works Office. This initiative aims to facilitate quicker decision-making, ensure administrative independence, and standardize the execution procedures for public works projects.
Shamsan emphasized the necessity of implementing effective mechanisms to improve performance in the districts. He called for strengthening the roles of public works and traffic police, which will positively impact traffic organization and public service quality. He underscored the importance of collaboration among various government entities and civil society to provide the best possible services to citizens during Ramadan.
The meeting also addressed work plans for several service offices, traffic management, and pricing strategies during the holy month. These discussions aim to ensure that citizens receive the necessary support and services throughout Ramadan.
