On Tuesday, Dr. Sha’if Mohsen Al-Zandani, the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, visited the Judicial Complex in Aden, the temporary capital of Yemen. During his visit, he assessed the operational status and needs of the judiciary. He emphasized that the government prioritizes strengthening the independence of the judiciary, believing that a robust, honest, and independent judiciary is essential for building a state governed by law.

Upon arrival, Dr. Al-Zandani received a warm welcome from key judicial figures, including Judge Mohsen Yahya Taleb, President of the Supreme Judicial Council, Judge Nazim Baouzir, President of the Judicial Inspection Authority, and Judge Nabil Al-Adimi, Secretary-General of the Supreme Court.

During the visit, the Prime Minister held a meeting with these officials to discuss the current state of the judiciary. He added, “Our mission is to assist you in fulfilling your responsibilities, not to interfere in your affairs. Judicial independence is a non-negotiable principle, and we will exert every effort to build a strong judiciary that earns the trust of the citizens.”
