On Tuesday, President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Alimi, head of the Presidential Leadership Council, convened a meeting at the Maasheeq Palace in the temporary capital of Aden. The meeting focused on addressing Yemen’s economic and humanitarian crises and included key government officials.

During the session, Prime Minister bin Mubarak and committee members provided a brief overview of the current economic situation. They discussed financial and monetary indicators, fluctuations in the national currency, and the prices of essential goods. Additionally, they reviewed the government’s reform agenda and the necessary measures to enhance state revenue and increase interventions aimed at alleviating the humanitarian crisis exacerbated by Houthi militia attacks on oil facilities and shipping vessels.
