The local authority and community organizations in the Mafer District of Taiz Governorate organized a food and relief convoy on Monday to support the brave members of the armed forces stationed at the Al-Kadhah front, located in the western part of the governorate. This initiative carried the slogan “Convoy of Loyalty and Solidarity.”
The convoy included participation from the Governor’s Assistant for Social Affairs, Mohammed Al-Sanwi, the Director General of the district, Ahmed Othman, along with various executive and security leaders, tribal sheikhs, and social figures.
The convoy delivered essential food supplies, relief materials, and shelter requirements to bolster the resilience of those stationed on the front lines.
During the handover of the convoy to the Commander of the Taiz Axis, Major General Khaled Fadhel, and the front-line leadership, discussions took place regarding the conditions and field needs of the stationed forces.
Al-Sanwi and Othman emphasized that the convoy symbolizes the community’s solidarity with the armed forces. They highlighted the ongoing support from the people of Mafer for those stationed at their posts, praising community initiatives that back the armed forces.
The stationed armed forces at the Al-Kadhah front expressed their gratitude for this initiative. They affirmed that community support significantly boosts their morale and strengthens their resolve in defending the republican system and national principles.
