The committee emphasized the importance of providing adequate medical care for affected individuals and integrating civilian victims into development and humanitarian aid programs, especially in remote areas recently visited by the committee.
Committee member Judge Ishraq Al-Maqtari presented significant findings from the committee’s visit to the Central Prison. The committee reviewed the conditions of hundreds of inmates and highlighted the urgent need for swift actions to protect prisoners’ rights and dignity.
