On Sunday, the Minister of Electricity and Energy, Adnan Al-Kaf, and the Minister of State and Governor of Aden, Abdulrahman Sheikh, inaugurated the solar energy and air conditioning system for the medical center in Al-Salam Village, located in the temporary capital of Aden.

Overview of the Solar Energy System

Al-Kaf and Sheikh reviewed the components of the system and its readiness. They listened to an explanation regarding its role in supplying the center with electrical power and air conditioning. This initiative aims to enhance the working environment and the medical services provided to beneficiaries.

Both ministers praised the charitable and humanitarian efforts that led to the support of the center with this system. Progress on the Second Phase of Al-Salam Village Project

In addition, the Minister of Electricity and the Minister of State and Governor of Aden assessed the progress of the second phase of the Al-Salam Village project. This phase includes the construction of ten residential buildings, totaling 120 apartments, along with various facilities and services. These include a park and playground for children, a school, a vocational training center, and water wells, all built according to approved technical and engineering specifications.

Recognition of Project Achievements

Al-Kaf and Sheikh commended the level of achievement in the project and the efforts made in implementing its components. They noted that the project serves as a model for residential and social initiatives that address the needs of beneficiary families, providing them with a comprehensive living and service environment. They also appreciated the support from philanthropists in Kuwait and the Gulf countries, recognizing their humanitarian stance towards the people of Aden.
